The MK-150 is an assault rifle featured in the game Commando 2, although placed under the SMG/MG category, that's very loosely based on the post-World War II AK-47. Given its 7.62×39mm caliber, the rifle fires ostensibly long bullets in gameplay. There are 300 rounds in the magazine, which is exactly ten times the AK-47's normal magazine size. It is obtained by accomplishing the second Mission. Every hit gives extra bonus of 100 points.

Trivia[]

  • It is the last of its category unlocked in Easy.
  • This weapon returned to the game Commando Assault, still with a 300-round magazine.
  • The mere existence of AK-47 Kalashnikov in the game set in WWII era (1939-1945) is chronologically nothing less than a preposterous mockery of the history. It entered service no earlier than 1949. Even the prototype wasn't produced until 1946.
  • The design of AK-47 was largely inspired by Hugo Schmeisser, who designed STG-44/MP44, the very first assault rifle of the world.
  • Along with RPG-7 and 107/122mm rockets, the AK-47 and its multiple variants was one of the most popular weapons in the world throughout recent history. This is especially the case for third-world guerilla warfare, Islamic regimes, terrorist cells, and low-budget military under dictatorships because of its simple design, low cost, reliability, and durability.
  • The weapon's in-game model deviates from the actual design of the AK-47. Note that the middle assembly of the rifle shown in the picture above is entirely different from its real-world counterpart.
  • The MK-150 fires much faster with the female Character.
