The Machinegun Robot is a boss that appears in the games Commando, Commando 2, and Commando Assault.

It is armed with a machine gun, a rocket launcher, and a long blade.

Commando and Commando 2

This boss enters the screen once the player rides on the 02, is flying in a position corner of the screen, and shooting the player using a machine gun. It keeps doing this as long as the player stays on the top of the driver's cabin, but once standing on the lower area of the 02, the Machinegun Robot will fly towards the player, and attempt to hit him using its blade. When it's low on health, it launches a fragile heat seeking missile every few seconds.

Commando Assault

In Commando Assault, this Boss can be launched from the Enemy Bases on Level 3 and up. However, instead of it shooting heat-seeking missiles, it shoots a big bullet similar to the hell bearers large cannon bullet. Also, it can't charge at the player.

Notes

• This boss can be skipped through means of pushing the character through the truck. To do this, one must utilize the PA-4514 if on Easy and Normal to push the player through the truck. By crouching with your back touching the truck and aiming the PA-4514 to the left and firing, the shotgun blast propels the player forward and clips through the truck. The Dragon Destructor fulfills the same task at a much higher success rate.
• The boss resembles a mosquito.
